2006-01-31 [kittykittykitty]: I agree with [Paz].. I don't get people who put anime down because of the way it is: it's a different technique, that's all. Plus there are so many variations within anime. The word encompasses simpler cartooney figures to beautifully detailed and breathtaking pictures. Take a look at 'Ghost in the Shell 2'. I saw a trailer for it and it looks amazing, but very different to what most people see as 'anime style'

2006-01-31 [Jitter]: Most of the times I dislike drawings made in anime style. As flea I believe in each person's unique-ness. However there are some artists that do anime and do it in their own special way so I can only bow before their work. I hate all kids who draw only anime (badly) and think they draw better than you. Not aimed at anyone of course, I've nothing against anime movies or manga. I actually adore watching them, I just don't appreciate it by non-talented people

It would be amazing to have some degree of skill in doing something original, interesting, and beautiful something nobody would ever even think of... Thats what I consider art.

2006-03-01 [Urmando The Elfling]: I have Followed a Home study course with Portrait and figure drawing, and a 2 year Airbrush Art school in Gemany. In both cases, I have let the teachers know, that they can add something to my talent, and NOT deforming it, and after a while they understand!
